Château de Grignan From November 24 to 28, 2025, Grignan Castle will be closed to allow for preparations for the Christmas trail! Come and enjoy “The Fabulous Christmas of Jean de la Fontaine” starting Saturday, November 29 at 10 a.m.!
Walk to the château de Montélimar Did you know that Montélimar castle is only 5 minutes' walk from the town centre? To make it easier for you to get to the castle, take the pedestrian route and stroll along the narrow streets to the medieval palace 🏰
Access to the château de Suze-la-Rousse 🚧 Due to construction work at the foot of the castle, access to the cobbled streets leading to the village or, conversely, up to the castle from the town centre, is currently closed. We invite you to park in the garenne, right next to the castle, or below in the Jardin des Vignes car park (walk up to the castle following the signs). - Thank you for your understanding.
Dynamic, muscular and sometimes participatory demonstrations
Although sport as such was no longer practised in the Middle Ages, the body was still put to a lot of hard work, often just for the fun of it! In those days, the term ‘sport’ was used. Wrestling, archery, games of skill or dance... it's all happening at the castle!
