> Yes. If you want to access only to the exteriors spaces of the château, you can do it for 2 €.

IS PICNICKING PERMITTED AT THE CHÂTEAU?
> Picnics are permitted at the Château de Grignan, for holders of a day ticket. Please respect the authorised areas and do not leave any rubbish on site. Picnics are not permitted in the evening, for events and shows taking place within the château (concerts, evening parties, correspondence festival, etc.).

CAN WE EAT ON SITE?
> A snack bar, the Café Louis-Provence, is open to visitors for part of the year in the Château de Grignan grove (generally from late June to late August). It offers drinks and snacks throughout the day for holders of a ticket to visit the château, and in the evening for holders of a ticket to a show. A “chic picnic” menu based on local produce is available, as well as wines, beers, soft drinks, cakes and ice creams, mainly selected from local suppliers. There is no need to book in advance; service is at the counter.

2025: A better welcome

A new chapter in the history of the château is being written at Grignan.
The work begun at the end of 2023 to make the site accessible and repair the roof is continuing with the creation of a new visitor trail.
This stage is part of the overall project to redevelop the château, which will eventually offer new spaces.
This is a major project, which will require the tour route to be adjusted over the coming months. During the works, the first floor will be open to visitors (guided tour), as will the exterior and the vast terrace overlooking the countryside.

A complete restoration of the ramparts is also underway.
