To celebrate this Olympic year, come and take part in a "Pentathlon of the Arts", culminating in the torch relay in Grignan on 20 June!

An event that's resolutely artistic, historical and sporting, based around 5 themes and 5 weekends:

    Guided tour | 1000 years of history
    Saturday 06 and Sunday 07 JUL | 10.30 am, 2.30 pm and 4 pm
    Take a journey through 1,000 years of history in the largest Renaissance palace in south-east France, where the illustrious Marquise de Sévigné lived and died.

    Poetic verbal jousting
    Saturday 06 and Sunday 07 JUL | 10.30am to 12.30pm
    A group of slammers take over the Cour du puits for a poetic verbal joust, in the image of what was practised in the salons of the 17th century. Thanks to the art of the bon mot, reputations are made or broken...

    Family activity | Slam de la plume à l'oreille workshop
    Saturday 06 and Sunday 07 JUL | 3pm
    In the company of a slammer, come and play with words and learn about the richness of the French language, tone, breath and rhythm. A writing workshop in the form of an open stage.

    Entre la fin du 19e et le début du 20e siècle, à l'époque romantique, il était à la mode de venir se faire photographier dans les extérieurs du château, alors en ruines. De nombreuses photos, notamment de familles, ont été prises à cette époque. Ici par exemple, la famille Davin.
