In 1679, paranoia took hold in Paris, where a series of suspicious deaths struck the nobility and the King's entourage... Nicolas de la Reynie, Lieutenant General of Police, was put in charge of the investigation. Madame de Sévigné followed every twist and turn of this dark affair and recounted everything in minute detail to her daughter, the Countess of Grignan.

During the All Saints' Day holidays, the Château de Grignan invites you to follow a unique trail that will reveal all the stages of this story: from the main suspects to the apothecary's shops, from the merchants of potions and elixirs to the prison dungeons, via the mortuary and the investigators' office.
